Our Executive Team

Gloriann Sahay

Director

Glo Sahay is an activist and experienced IT professional who decided to use her skillsets to mobilize grassroots causes nationwide. Alongside her husband, Karsh Sahay, they have been building grassroots power for over a decade. Glo is also passionate about closing gender equity gaps for Women in Tech. She originally founded WomEngineers with this goal, and then shifted the mission to expanding services to civic causes by creating Toolbox For Change, ensuring that her technical chops and organizing skills combined to uplift youth, LGTBQ+ and BIPOC leaders, nationwide.

Karsh Sahay

Director of Technology

Karsh Sahay is a movement technologist and organizer bridging grassroots strategy and digital infrastructure. Through Toolbox For Change, and the movement network, Karsh helps build the systems and tools that make decentralized democracy real: from open-source infrastructure to participatory decision-making frameworks. Their work centers transparency, care, and collective power.

Emmanuel (Manny) Martinez

Co-Executive Director

Emmanuel (Manny) Martinez is an activist who began his journey in 2010 after witnessing racism and nepotism in his local school district. He helped start Concerned Parents of the Hazleton Area (CPHA) with his mother, which evolved into the Hazleton Integration Project (HIP) to support the Latino community. Manny developed reading programs for ESL children and served as a translator for parents. In 2018, he became a paralegal, organizing community events like food drives and legal clinics. Since 2016, Manny has worked with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission (PHRC), documenting civil rights violations and securing investigations into the local school district. Currently, he remains active with PHRC, serves as a volunteer National Coordinator for the socio-political movement “50501,” and is a co-executive director of Toolbox for Change, focusing on uplifting marginalized communities.

Diana Mitchell

Operations Coordinator

Diana Mitchell utilizes her experience in mutual aid organizing to empower volunteers in community building work. With education in conflict resolution strategies, her work focuses on building systems that support collaboration, accountability, and care within activist communities.

Erick Bahena

Digital Associate & Online Community Manager

Although Erick is new to activism, he has been able to leverage his experience with social media to create viral posts on multiple platforms. Erick has helped to create and grow the reach of multiple grassroots organizations and individuals. Has moderated a large Discord and Subreddit while maintaining steady growth of their respective communities. Currently, Erick volunteers as a National Communications Coordinator for 50501, Co-heads the 50501 Twitch team, and serves on 50501 social media administration team. Specializes in community engagement and growth by leveraging new and creative ideas. Passionate about connecting like-minded groups interested in mobilizing around shared goals.
